Although I prefer them having hatesex a lot more than being pleased about it (probably because 'Slick' and 'happy' together in the same sentence usually mean a small harmless thing has been tenderized). i like the kids, probably even more than the trolls. but i feel like this is the only in depth look at alternia we're going to get, and if so i don't want to move on nearly as fast as everyone else seems to want to. sure, there are a ton of cliffhangers we were left with, but we KNOW for sure we'll be getting back to those, while there's no guarantee we'll have all the loose ends of hivebent wrapped up.

also i am hugely in love with a lot of the trolls, so i don't necessarily want to see them go.

I'm scared my drive to draw will dry up when we go back to the kids.

I really wish the fantroll art would go in its own thread. I would subscribe to it, I don't mind them in general, it just makes it even harder to find pictures I'm looking for when going back through the fanart thread.

Also I wish the mods would get on the asses of people posting HUGE images, things obviously posted as big as they were scanned. It seems to be a problem with a lot of the fantroll stuff. :/

pound for pound? probably the carapaces. my very very favourites all seem to be dersites or prospitians, even though i like all the others just fine. there's just really something charming about all of them! the kid's exiles are my favourites of their session, and the troll's exiles are amoung my favourites of theirs. so it comes down to loving the exoskeletons, i guess.

yeah, part of it i think is that the troll's designs are all so distinctive, it's a huge kick to draw any of them! i like drawing hte kids just fine, but the trolls are a lot more fun to play around with and adapt to my style.

I ship John/Jade. I don't care what anyone else says, I don't care if they're technically related, I like it.

I'm way more in favor of the hatesex, especially the kind where Snowman just grabs him and does what she wants, but even if it's horribly OOC and stuff I like the huggy pictures too. I don't like them just as a normal couple but I like the idea of them having something that's sort of like a relationship too.

Which is weird since normally my tolerances for OOC go in the complete opposite direction. But normally I don't have much in the way of hetships either.

Yeah, the trolls are like the kids dialed up to eleven, and then there's twelve of them.

And I've never understood people being impatient about it ending. I mean if Andrew really did go by set deadlines and there was a risk of him having to rush kid stuff I could understand, but...I love Homestuck, so even if I liked the kids more than the trolls, I'd want him to take as long on everything as possible.

It's not like a GRRM thing where there's a risk he's going to keel over and die before he finishes.

My most favorite is Jack(/Slick), because he's an irredeemable bastard and his typical soul-blackening rage makes for some really funny exposition.
